Rich in beneficial bacteria and antioxidants, yogurt can be a great addition to your regular skin care routine. Apply plain, unsweetened yogurt to acne prone areas of your face before bedtime. The lactic acid in yogurt will help reduce inflammation and kill bacteria that cause breakouts. It’s best to stick with unsweetened varieties because sweetened yogurts can actually lead to more oil production on your face.
